Thanks so much for being here, Random Row! You are enhancing the community! Many Cvillians are reeeeeal tired of gentrification and gloss…. You are the real thing!

Attn: anyone who has not visited, listen up…. this is a town with a few great used bookstores… why frequent Random Row? My take on this…. Ryan, the owner, is very selective. What he has is all good stuff, some rare finds! If you have spent countless hours looking through other used bookstores in town ( all of which have their good points!), you will like how carefully books are selected in the first place at Random Row. Now, instead of making a good find, my challenge at RR is not buying more books than I can lift all at once. Too easy to find great stuff. And Ryan doesn’t hide the poetry in some back corner ( thanks, Ryan). Check it out!! Bonus: they do readings and other events as well… I don’t think our other used bookstores do that… Great additon to the Cville literary crowd!!

Hey – how do I find out about what is going on at Random Row before it happens? your website doesn’t have an events page. Just curious.

I try to post things at least a few days in advance. I’ll try harder. I also have an email list.

I second Sarah’s question. How does one find out about upcoming events? Thanks!
