October 20, 2012
The Eaglebear Native American Dancers lead by Tomas Eaglebear and his family have been sharing interactive cultural presentations throughout the United States and internationally for 25 years. Traditional storytelling, song, dance and/or lectures. This dance troupe is made of not only performers, but this is their way of life which they enjoy sharing. Comprised mainly of The Shash family, which are the descendants of the Warm Springs Apache originally from New Mexico. There are many other native people from different tribes that are part of their community. The Shash family hosts ceremonies throughout the year at the cultural center in Gar
dner, Colorado. At different times, the dance troupe performs throughout the United States and internationally. This is a unique cultural exchange where the audience actively engages in traditional native american storytelling, song, and dance.
