In the morning dark of June 28, 2009, the democratically elected president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya was seized from his home, taken to a US airbase, and then flown to Costa Rica.  There was massive popular resistance to the coup government, and brutal repression that continues today.

An international Commission of Truth was formed, comprised of eminent veterans of other high profile truth commissions, to investigate and report on the Human Rights violations that have occurred since the coup. Their report has now been released.

This Video, La Voz (the Voice), documents with dramatic footage this story.   Bill Lankford who has worked in Honduras over the past 20 years will be available to facilitate discussion and answer questions.
